For example, 110mm, 125mm, 140mm PVC pipe are popular in some countries. 20mm and 25mm are widely used in electrical conduit pipe, also called electrical wire protection pipe. Based on some certain government projects the large dewatering pipe with the dimension like 500mm or 630mm PVC pipe or 1000mm/1200mm HDPE pipes will be demanded. Sales experience and market’s demand are always the core reason for size range of extrusion line.
- Balance of capacity and pipe size range
One extrusion line performances different capacity when different pipe diameter is in production. Take a PVC extrusion line for pipe 20-110mm for example. The production rate could be 200kg/h by production of pipe with 20mm (OD) and 1.9mm wall thickness. And the production rate could be 270kg/h by production of pipe with 110mm (OD) and 6.6mm wall thickness. The key factor, which influence the production rate, located mainly in mould.
